For landscape business cards your file should measure 91 x 61mm, for portrait it should be 61 x 91mm, this includes 3mm bleed on each edge. The finished card will be trimmed to 85 x 55mm.

Sizes for other items, and a helpful animation explaining bleed can be found on our file preparation tutorial

Your file should not contain any cutting/trim marks, printers marks or similar as these will be printed on your cards.

Very fine text, rules and keylines should be avoided.

If possible, your file should be created in CMYK colour format to ensure the most accurate colour reproduction. We can accept RGB files, but there is a risk that some of the colours may not print exactly as they appear on your screen.

If you have an area of solid black within your document, 100% black (K) alone will not result in a solid, saturated black. Instead, please use Rich Black, as represented by C:100% / M:30% / Y:30% / K:100%.

Files created in Word cannot be uploaded directly into our system and so must be sent to us using the form provided. We will then convert them to a suitable format using custom software we have. The converted file will then be added to a basket for you and you will receive a link to this basket via email. You can then continue from there to place your order.

Please note: EPS, JPEG and PDF files saved from Word are not high enough quality to print from.
