Please check your file conforms to the following specifications.
For landscape business cards your file should measure 91 x 61mm, for portrait it should be 61 x 91mm, this includes 3mm bleed on each edge. The finished card will be trimmed to 85 x 55mm.
Sizes for other items, and a helpful animation explaining bleed can be found on our file preparation tutorial
The resolution of your file should be at least 300 dpi, with a maximum of 600 dpi.
Your file should not contain any cutting/trim marks, printers marks or similar as these will be printed on your cards.
Very fine text, rules and keylines should be avoided.
Your file should be created in CMYK colour format to ensure the most accurate colour reproduction. We can accept RGB files, but there is a risk that some of the colours may not print exactly as they appear on your screen.
If you have an area of solid black within your document, 100% black (K) alone will not result in a solid, saturated black. Instead, please use Rich Black, as represented by C:100% / M:30% / Y:30% / K:100%.
All layers must be flattened and extra channels removed.
Files should be in JPEG, EPS, TIFF or PDF format. Please ensure DCS is not selected. TIFF files should be saved with no compression.
.PSD files cannot be uploaded and must be re-saved into one of the above formats.
